rest.

how wild is it that we are called to rest? that we aren’t expected to do it all in our own strength.
been so amazed and how we can be used even in our hardest moments, and how that is still good work.
we are called to rest, to surrender our days, our hardships, our joys, and to be.
it goes against all we know now. culture is busy. life is hectic. to stop is to seem like you aren’t doing enough.
but it is from a place of rest, and stopping that more will be done.
in a season of remembrance, and where I am choosing to be thankful in my days in light of this, I am also being challenged on how I rest. why I rest, and where I rest. prioritising that deep peace, over moments that are draining.
it’s a weapon, it’s an act of worship.
rest, is good guys. 🤘🏻
