Time.

Time, it’s so massively misunderstood.

So many people see it as an enemy, never knowing if they can beat it. “Oh can I get to school in time?!” “I have so much work to do!” All these barriers, all these walls that prevent us from looking over and witnessing the actual beauty of time. It is a constant thing in your life, like a nagging yet caring mum it never leaves, and for most it creates utter chaos in your minds – is that how it should be though? Time can be a friend, it allows you to stop and have a “break” amidst the hectic life.

It isn’t designed to be an enemy.

It isn’t about how long you have left, it’s about what you do with your time. How you spend it, who with, and what on. Why waste your precious time on ridiculous things? It’s like spending money on things we will never use – which, regrettably, so many do. Why not use your time being joyful, doing things you love; things that can change people’s lives.

We can be so wasteful now day’s, lacking the motivation to do even the simplest of things, would it not be better to be more giving people that use their time in amazing ways? We shouldn’t see time as a barrier, we should try and see it as a door, a door that you hold the key too, and on the other side can lie things unknown to you!

“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door!”

Time is simply an aspect of your life that although you may never get to control, you can use for the benefit of not only you, but those around you. Let us not waste the time we have, but use it for the greater good!

So, I encourage you, as this week draws nearer to an end, why not take some time to yourself, read a book, pray, or just spend a period of time reflecting on what you may be facing at the moment, and what you are going on to. Even if a small period of time, it is time well spent.
